60 days Sober

The 60 day marker of sobriety has now come and gone. As I sit here looking back at how I handled most of my depression, anger, and aggravation through alcohol I thank God that I have not picked up the bottle. There have been many temptations throughout this journey, and i would be lying if I said this is easy. As I battle through the very thought, push or whisper to have just a sip I remain firm in this decision. I pray that as rough as this has been God will deliver me out from these chains of addiction so I can look forward to the days ahead like calm waters.
